Frequently Asked Questions
Let IC Biomedical ease your concerns with more information about our solutions.
Are cryogenic gloves for liquid nitrogen immersion?
No. Though these gloves are suitable for working with liquid nitrogen, they should not be submerged in LN2 or any other cryogen. They are designed for cold contact and splash protection.
How do I choose the right glove length?
Each glove length is designed for specific tasks. Shorter lengths are preferred for freezer access, while elbow and shoulder-length gloves should be used in any pouring or decanting operations. When you are at risk of splashes, opt for gloves and cryogenic protective clothing that provides as much coverage as possible.
Will I retain dexterity when handling small items?
CryoGuard gloves are engineered to maintain flexibility when working at low temperatures. However, if fine object manipulation is a major concern, opting for shorter lengths and appropriate glove sizing can help enhance dexterity.
