Design Engineer

An IC Biomedical Design Engineer collaborates with other staff associates on product design, research and development, marketing, and manufacturing to create highly functional products that are profitable and meet user needs. IC Biomedical, LLC manufactures cryogenic storage and transport equipment for life sciences, healthcare, and animal husbandry markets.

Customer Service Representative

The customer service representative provides superior support to internal and external customers by providing helpful information, answering questions, special projects, data processing, report generation/audit and responding to complaints. Sales/Warranty/Service Order processing via proprietary network system. The Representative must be a nimble learner and self-starter. Foster and maintain interdepartmental relationships to the betterment of the Representative’s product knowledge and application to the market. They’re the frontline of support for clients and customers and they help ensure that customers are satisfied with products, services.

Quality Engineer

The quality engineer is responsible for ensuring manufacturing and QMS processes are performed correctly using the right tools, materials, and processes. An important part of the job involves working with internal teams to determine the company’s quality expectations and develop metrics/processes to constantly determine if expectations are being met.  The QE will document problems and play a lead role in determining root cause and work with other departments to implement solutions.  The QE will gather and report process statistical information to identify areas requiring improvement.  The QE is responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and proposing measures to correct or improve final products and processes to meet established quality standards. The QE will assist in quality assurance audits to ensure product and regulatory requirements are being met.  The QE should have experience in trouble shooting processes and systems to ensure reliability and consistent results.

Engineering Co-op

The Engineering Co-op will assist with projects in the Engineering Department. This position is responsible for assisting engineers with projects ranging from manufacturing support to new product development. This position requires understanding of fabrication processes and basic mechanical troubleshooting. Will require hands on skills and the application of Mechanical Engineering coursework.

As a co-op this position will work up to 12 weeks during a semester every other semester.
